Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) – Disaster Relief Program
In times of disaster, access to timely behavioral health support is critical—yet significant gaps remain, particularly within agricultural communities. Farmers and ranchers face unique barriers to care, including geographic isolation, stigma, demanding and unpredictable schedules, and limited access to local behavioral health resources. As a result, many delay or forgo support during periods of acute stress.
To address this gap, this program introduces Scheduled Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) sessions as part of a broader Disaster Relief strategy.
