Objectives: Review high-risk and benign presentations of chest pain, develop diagnostic reasoning skills, and strengthen ECG interpretation across a range of scenarios.

  1. Describe the best practice work-up of emergent chest pain
  2. List the major causes of emergent chest pain
  3. Explain the useful tools in developing a working diagnosis while working through various emergent chest pain scenarios
  4. Explain some of the potential pitfalls in the evaluation of emergent chest pain
