Dr. Middlebrook is a founding partner of Emerus and has served as Chief Medical Officer since 2011. 

He has previously held leadership positions including South Texas Regional Medical Director and Medical Director of the Emerus’ Tomball, Texas, facility. Middlebrook holds a bachelor’s degree with highest honors in biology from Abilene Christian University, a medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston and completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Connecticut. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
