John Gruber serves as the EMS Operations Manager for Avel eCare’s EMS Services. Avel’s newest solution is breaking ground, bringing years of emergency telemedicine experience to patient care in the ambulance. John is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring technology, staff and service are aligned with Avel’s core values. John has experience as a paramedic both on the ground and in the air as well as working with Avel’s hospital partners as an Account Executive prior to his current role. John graduated from the University of Sioux Falls and transitioned into healthcare as a second career to align with his desire to help people and make a difference.
