Erin Theis serves as the eBH Unit Supervisor for the Avel team and a board-certified psychiatric registered nurse. She has an extensive background in acute inpatient care and crisis response.

She brings considerable experience in acute adult inpatient psychiatric settings, along with expertise in safety planning and means safety counseling. Erin is deeply committed to reducing suicide risk and supporting individuals during mental health crises. She also recognizes the vital importance of case management in coordinating care and ensuring continuity of support for patients.

In addition, Erin has worked with medically and behaviorally complex children in residential settings and has managed Alzheimer’s and dementia care units, broadening her expertise across diverse patient populations.
