Mandy Bell, MHA serves as the Vice President of Product Innovation for Avel eCare. In this role, Bell oversees direct to consumer and school health telehealth programs. She also facilitates the innovation process within Avel and was instrumental in the development and launch of all service lines, including Avel’s nationally recognized Emergency program, Senior Care, School Health. Bell has played an important role in advocating on behalf of telehealth and telemedicine, supporting education that has helped lead to important regulatory changes at the state and federal level, including publishing seven policy briefs and nine peer-reviewed publications specifically related to virtual care.

Bell co-chairs Avel eCare’s Research Committee and has led the implementation of Avel eCare quality program, resulting in accreditation by the Joint Commission and the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) in 2015 and 2018, respectively. Bell received a Masters of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and Bachelor’s degree from Augustana College, in Sioux Falls, S.D.
